I can't sign in+
Use the password reset link from the sign-in page. If your email is verified but reset doesn't arrive, check spam, then email support@commona.app with the address on file.
I want to change my email or phone+
Open Settings → Account. Email changes require a verification click on the new address. Phone changes require an SMS code.
I want to delete my account+
Go to Settings → Account → Delete account. Your personal data is removed within 30 days. Public civic records (e.g. completed projects) remain in anonymised form to preserve community memory.
Circles, stewards & moderation
My village isn't on Commona yet+
Anyone can request a Circle. Sign in, search for your village, and choose Request a new Circle. Most are approved within 48 hours after a light verification step.
I want to become a steward of my Circle+
Stewards are nominated by their community. Existing members or recognised leaders can propose you in the Circle's Governance tab; the platform team confirms identity and role.
Someone is misusing my Circle+
Use the three-dot menu on any talking point, comment or member profile to report. Trust & Safety responds within hours for safety issues, within 24 hours for everything else.
Funding & receipts
How is project funding handled?+
Donations flow through verified payment partners with full receipts. Every contribution appears in the project's public ledger. Stewards release funds against milestones, not on signup.
What fee does Commona take?+
A small, fully disclosed platform fee on optional fundraising (currently 2%) plus actual payment processor fees, which are shown before you give. No fees for resident participation or Circle membership.
I'm a sponsor and I want a receipt or report+
Every donation generates a receipt and a project page link. For institutional reporting, email partners@commona.app for consolidated quarterly statements.
