A platform that's used every day by real communities to organise real work — roads, clinics, schools, opportunities, petitions. The opposite of a feed company. The opposite of vanity metrics. A long-term, high-trust product.
How we work
- Async-first, calm by default. Deep work over meetings.
- Distributed across time zones, with most of the team in Africa and the diaspora.
- Small teams, large ownership. If you ship it, you own it.
- Direct feedback, written down. No politics, no theatre.
- Sustainable pace. We don't run a crunch culture and we don't romanticise burnout.
What we look for
- Strong craft — engineering, design, product, operations, organising.
- Civic instinct — you care about communities, not just users.
- Low ego, high ownership.
- Clear writing — almost everything we decide is written down first.
